Antique fishing lure collectors will meet Tuesday at the Heddon Museum in Dowagiac, as they do on the second Tuesday of every month.
The informal meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and are mostly a show-and-tell night, with some selling, trading and buying taking place.
The museum is open for public viewing, too. Anyone interested in antique fishing items is welcome to stop by, as no membership or fees are required.
Antique tackle experts Doug Bucha and Ric Ladonski came across a rare find at their antique tackle display during the Niles Riverfest earlier this month.
Pictured here are some of the antique fly lures purchased by collectors at the Niles Riverfest.
The items were discovered in the tackle box of a deceased world fly fishing traveler and taken to the Riverfest by the anglers friend for Bucha and Ladonski to identify and appraise.
