Shawn Kintigh (Goshen) and Doug Burkhead (Osceola) won the Michiana Walleye Association tournament on Winona Lake last week.

The winners had 10.68 pounds caught in 18-20 foot of water on iridescent-colored jigs and crawlers.

Second place and big fish (3.67 pounds) honors went to Randy Hamilton (Granger) and Dean Cates (Jimtown) with 5.31 pounds caught on blue crawler harnesses with hammered silver blades on a split-shot rig in 17 feet of water, trolled slowly at 1.2 mph.

Mike Rhoades (South Bend) and Randy Gains (Mt. Vernon, Wash.) were third with 4.47 pounds caught vertical jigging Spot Tail Jigs with crawlers in 15 feet of water. For more information, visit www.michianawalleye.blogspot.com.
