Jason Weiricks and Ken Baxter won by a mere .01 pound!

Like their .01 pound win at Wawasee, their five bass limit weighed 8.46 pounds and just eased the scales by .01 pounds over Mitch Hayes and David Tofson of Rochester.

Hayes and Tofson, who were fishing their home waters, had a five fish limit weighing 8.45 pounds. Rich Miller and Brandon Ketchum (Portage, IN) were third with a five bass limit that weighed 8.42 pounds.

Andy Buss (North Liberty) and Steve Prange (Niles, MI) were fourth with 7.96 pounds. Rounding out the top five was Rich Paton (Plymouth) and Dave Morrow (Knox) with 7.82 pounds.

Weiricks and Baxter also won the Travel Tender Bait and Tackle Big Bass Award with a 3.25 pound largemouth. Buss and Prange’s fourth place moved them to within five points of Series leaders Jeff Dever and Greg Anderson who finished in 6th. Paton and Morrow moved into third place and are only 17 points behind in the hunt for the season championship.

Dan O’Neil (Winona Lake, IN) and Rick Rogers (Warsaw, IN) lead the hunt for the Crown Trophy Rookies of the Year Award.
