Rick and Jennifer Kedik - 1st PlaceRick and Jennifer Kedik - 1st Place

Rick and Jennifer Kedik caught five bass weighing 17.53 pounds to win the Casting Couples Classic on Lake Margrethe.

Margrethe is 1,900 acres and located near Grayling, Mich.

The Kediks also won the big bass pot with a 5.22-pound largemouth. They used 3/8-ounce Native Pride Jigs (bluegill) to catch most their fish in 8 to 13 feet of water. They won $810 and prizes from Clear H2o and Extreme Bass Tackle.

Although the Kediks culled several times, the win didn’t come easy. When it came time to go to the weigh-in, a dead battery prevented the motor from starting. They were able to contact Jake and Stephanie Lisenko who towed them in on time.
