Aaron Krider (Fort Wayne) and Bob Bruick (Fort Wayne) beat out 36 teams, which brought 23 limits to the scales, with a limitĀ of fish weighing 10.75 pounds to win the R&B Bass Circuit tournament on Lake Manitou June 23.

The winners landed over 30 keepers throughout the day, including the Starboard Choice Marine Big Bass, a 3.13-pound largemouth. All of their fish were fooled with an Xtreme Bass Tackle tube in the Lake St. Clair crawfish color scheme. They won $680 for the win and an additional $288 for the big fish.

Steve Kline (Albion) and Mark Farver (Goshen) won $416 for second by bringing in a limit weighing 10.12 pounds. They caught their fish with a C Flash 44 Magnum in the Emerald Shiner color pattern on an inside turn of a breakline.

The brother team of Myron (Cromwell) and Robert Miller (Goshen) was third ($264) with a 9.97-pound limit. They targeted docks with a two-prong attack by slinging topwaters (Pop-R and Zara Spooks) to shaded areas and skipping Senko baits under piers and boats in the sunny areas.

The next event is July 21 at Austin Lake. More information can be found at www.randbbasscircuit.com.
