John DuPont and I had a great 3 hours of smallmouth bass fishing on Lake St. Clair, Michigan during Day 1 of the R & B Bass Circuit Classic tournament, which took off from the Detroit River at Elizabeth Park.
We weighed 19.48 pounds. Our first keeper came at 11:15 and left at 2:15. Our run to this spot was nearly 50 miles. All of our fish were caught with Xtreme Bass Tackle tubes in the color schemes Formula G3 and Canadian Mist.
One bass was also caught on a Lochness Lures Lil' Nessie swimbait.
