Michiana is on track to record the best deer hunting harvest in recent years.
It’s not just antlerless deer that are filling kill tags. Much of the increase is due to a rising number of bucks that have been taken since the season opened Oct. 1.
One of the most consistent anglers in the professional bass fishing ranks, noted angler Aaron Martens will be relying on G. Loomis’ complete line-up of IMX-PRO and NRX bass rods in 2020.
Martens left Enigma to join the Loomis Pro Staff team.
Taking its ice-fishing rod and reel line-up another step, Shimano follows the wave it made in 2018 to continue with its ‘next level’ ice rods now offered in the new Sedona Ice-Fishing combos.

This 1920s Heddon Muskie Minnow was purchased by lure collectors at a previous Niles Riverfest. Although it had prop blades, it was weighted to run underwater and create a disturbance to attract muskies. (Photo by Doug Bucha)
