Welcome to Michiana Outdoors News, an online source for outdoors from across northern Indiana and southern Michigan.
Our plan is to provide you timely outdoors information not found in traditional news outlets. Youll get reports of regulation changes, fishing and hunting tips, inside scoop on trophy kills and catches taken from Michiana woods and waters, fishing and hunting conditions, our assessment of new gear pertinent to our region and more.
Some of you may recognize my name from more than 30 years of magazine and newspaper reporting. I continue to produce weekly outdoors columns for the South Bend Tribune and Goshen News as well as features for Bassmaster and B.A.S.S. Times magazines. This endeavor will serve as a timelier, detailed platform and extension of what you might find in weekly newspaper columns.
Of course, its going to be a work in progress and evolve as we develop new ideas. We will rely on Michiana sportsmen to share their photo, how-to tips or any other viable info that we believe youd like to see and hear about.
