The winners had 13.61 pounds that included the big bass of the tournament, a 4.8-pound largemouth. Their bag of fish was fooled by
jigs and drop-shot rigs fished in 12-17 feet of water on Marble Lake.

John DuPont (North Liberty) and Steve Januchowski (Michigan City) sat on one spot to catch a 13.29-pound limit and finish second, worth $1,000 and $600 Bass Pro Shops gear. All of their fish were caught on a Lucky Craft 85 Pointer jerkbait fished along the breakline.

Ray Smith (Portage, Ind.) and Art Kerns (Wheatfield, Ind.) were third ($800) with 12.86 pounds caught on jigs around docks on Coldwater Lake.
