Dan Posey of Niles finished fourth at the recent Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation State Championship on St. Clair to earn a berth on the state team.
Its the fourth time Posey has made the team. He caught 18.48 pounds the first day and 17.83 the second day for a two-day total of 36.31.
Hell compete with nine other Michigan team members along with anglers from other states for a berth in the B.A.S.S. Nation National tournament in the regional tournament slated for Kentucky Lake next April.
