Finishing first ($448) was Layne Hoerstman (Mishawaka) and Aaron Brady (Niles, Mich.) with five bass weighing 10.34 pounds.

The top five teams brought five fish limits to the scales.

Second place ($268) went to DeWayne Wilda (South Bend) and Jeremy Chase (Mishawaka) with 9.80 pounds while the father and son team of Mike Raber and LaVon Raber (Wolcottville, Ind.) were third ($180).

Frank Randol (Angola, Ind.) and Quint Butters (Homer, Ind.) narrowly claimed the Big Bass Award with a 3.39 pounder that edged out Hoerstman and Brady’s big bass by only .01 of a pound. Big Bass was worth $160.

Brian Light (LaGrange, Ind.) and Jeff Boone (Churubusco, Ind.) were 4th with a five weighing 7.67 pounds. They received the “First Out of the Money” award – a gift certificate courtesy of ClearH2O Tackle and hats provided by Denali Rods.
