Andy Buss (North Liberty) and Josh Stalcup (Mishawaka) won the U.S. Anglers Choice Pro event on Lake Tippecanoe last weekend with 11.60 pounds. The winners pocketed $1,020 for the fish they caught around docks close to deep water.

Clint Gradeless (Huntington) and Lee Pliz (Wawaka) were second ($537) with 9.27 pounds caught on jigs on the outside of the weeds in 10 to 16 feet of water. Phillip Duracz (Chesterton) fished alone and was third ($256) with 8.61 pounds caught on jigs and Erie Darters around piers. Big Bass for the tournament ($180) was a 3.32-pound largemouth caught by Jerry Duracz and Clint Marler.

There were 52 fish weighed in for a total weight of 87.74 pounds and an average of 1.69 pounds per fish.
