Dan Milligan (Bremen) and Kris Shipley (Syracuse) won the Hoosier Pro event on Wawasee last week with 14.49 pounds despite experiencing mechanical issues early in the morning.

They won $280 by using power fishing tactics on Syracuse Lake.

Phillip Duracz (Chesterton) and Steve Coleman (Whiting, Ind.) were second ($168) with 13.19 by fishing docks with grubs and wacky worms.

Rick Rogers (Warsaw) and Dan O’Neil (Ft. Wayne) were third ($112) with four fish weighing 11.91 pounds, to include the big bass of the tournament, a 4.55-pound largemouth. They fished tubes and beavers on the flats.

There were 41 bass weighed in for a total of 92.18 pounds.
