Rodney Fannin (Marion, Ind.) and Dan Milligan (Syracuse) won the Anglers Choice tournament on Lake Wawasee last week.
The winners ($1,025) caught 12.40 pounds that included a 5.13-pound largemouth that won them big bass prize ($190). All of their fish were caught in scattered deep weed beds on jigs.
Marc Evans and Nick Klopfenstein (Woodburn, Ind.) were second ($585) with 11.78 pounds caught around boat docks. Brian Hensley (Edwardsburg) and Ken Tucker (Athens, Mich.) were third ($310) with 8.94 pounds by fishing Stanley jigs and small crankbaits around piers.
Clint Gradeless (Huntington, Ind.) and Lee Pilz (Wawaka, Ind.) had the second biggest bass (5.02) caught on a jig on the outside of the weeds in 5 to 10 feet of water.
