Trevor Paulus and Steve Szymczak won the 21st annual Thanksgiving bass tournament on Klinger Lake last weekend.

The winners had 8.25 pounds while Don and Joe DiMarzio were second with 8.16 pounds. Steve Prange and Andy Buss were third with 7.58 pounds.
Tubes, blade baits and Erie Darters produced most of the fish and came from 8 to 15 feet of water.

The tournament was previously scheduled for Baldwin Lake but ice on the channels at the ramp forced the tournament to be moved to Klinger.
Some 15 teams competed in the annual event that was started by Bob Evans and Bill Stankovich on Shavehead Lake in 1991.

Evans said he plans to hold similar event on Thanksgiving Weekend in 2014.
