Week Night ClassicWeek Night ClassicThe 2014 Michiana Weeknight Tournament Series Classic produced record breaking catches last weekend on the Torch/Skegemog/Elk chain of lakes near Traverse City, Mich.

Despite changing weather and gusty winds, most teams brought a good sack to the scales. Eight teams had limits on day 1, topped by Chris Maynard (Mishawaka) and Chad Worley (Niles) with a five fish weighing 25.60 pounds. They also had day big bass of the day with a 5.60-pound smallmouth.

Week Night ClassicWeek Night ClassicDay 2 brought heavy wind and rain most of the day. Only four teams caught limits with Maynard and Worvey topping the list again with another huge sack weighing 24.52 and a two-day total of 50.12 pounds, eclipsing the old Classic record by 10 pounds. They also had big bass of the day, a 5.41-pound smallmouth.

Second place went to the father/son team of Kevin and Mike Fletcher Elkhart) with 35.90. Terry Smith (South Bend) and Dennis Losee (Edwardsburg) were third with 35.59.
