John and Meghan Gipson (Lafayette) had five keeper bass totaling 16.56 pounds to win the Casting Couples tournament on the St. Joseph River at Benton Harbor recently.

The Gipsons used tubes and blade baits in about 15-20 feet of water to catch a limit early.

Chad and Jennifer Worvey (Niles) were second with five bass weighing 15.65 pounds caught on Darters & A-rigs around bridges.

Rick & Jennifer Kedik (Niles) caught their 12.85-pound limit in the last 45 minutes of the tournament on swim jigs. They also captured Big Bass Honors with a 4.85 pound smallmouth.
