Lew's New HyperMag Spinning Reel

New for the 2022 lineup, Team Lew’s has added the Speed Spin to its HyperMag family designed for highly competitive fishing.

What sets the HyperMag Speed Spin apart is the extraordinary engineering of the lightweight magnesium body and the high strength magnesium skeletal rotor.  Together with the proprietary forged main gear, premium 11 stainless steel bearing system and the new Winn slim design handle knob, these features distinguish the HyperMag Speed Spin as one of the lightweight/ high performance spinning reels of the class.  

Key to the development of the HyperMag Speed Spin is one of the newest members of the Lew’s Pro Team, Mark Zona.  “I fish a lot of places that torture my spinning reels. The new HyperMag has stood up in a BIG way,” the Michigan native said.  “The HyperMag Speed Spin drag system has been rock solid and frankly the feature that is hardest to accomplish in a spinning reel, is an exceptional drag system. 

The HyperMag Speed Spin is available in two models.  With both the 200 Series (HMS200) and the 300 Series (HMS300) on the deck of the boat, anglers will be prepared for all applications.
