Team Lew’s Tournament LFS Baitcasting Reel

Built for the most hard-fishing, all-day, any-season anglers, Lew’s introduces the new Team Lew’s Tournament LFS Baitcasting Reel. 

Key to the extreme light weight of the Tournament Lite is the wildly popular LFS one-piece aluminum frame with C45 carbon side plates, paired with an aircraft-grade double anodized Duralumin 34mm spool.  The reel weighs in at only 5.3 oz.  This is a critical benefit for all-day fishing, particularly in heavier applications.  

Engineered specifically for the challenges of serious fishing, the Tournament Lite LFS boasts Lew’s hard aluminum alloy Speed Gears, which were cut on high quality Hamai CNC gear hobbling machines, and the battle tested P2 Super Pinion bearing supported pinion gear for precise alignment, smooth operation and extended gear life. 

What truly sets this reel apart, however, is its first-class performance on the water.  The Zero Reverse one-way clutch system and the 27 position QuietCast Adjustable Centrifugal Braking system deliver unbelievably smoother and longer casts, a remarkable advantage when battling adverse winds - and an absolutely necessary feature for any competitive angler.  With money and reputation on the line with every cast, you simply do not have time to battle backlashes and short casts.

 Another feature is the patented Speed Dial that allows you to easily identify the line type and pound test on the reel and the Speed Keeper that swings out to secure your hook, and swings back in to conveniently tuck back under the reel when not in use.
