Brian and Renee Hensley - First Place

Brian and Renee Hensley (Edwarsburg) won the Casting Couples event on Klinger Lake last weekend. Nineteen teams fished including some new faces. Only two boats failed to weigh in a keeper and there were nine limits.

The winners ($270) had five keepers totaling 10.80 pound= s caught on a variety of baits fished deep and Senkos in shallow water.

Jake and Rachel Rosenbaum Second Place

Second place ($150) went to newcomers Jake and Rachel Rosenbaum (Crown Point, Ind.) with four bass weighing 8.74 pounds. They added another $90 for Big Bass Honors with a 2.83-pound fish. They used swimbaits in about 10 feet of water.

Jim Meadows and Jodie Murphy - 3rd Place

Jim Meadows and Jodie Murphy (Elkhart) were third ($100) with a 7.74-pound limit. They used Ned rigs in 15 feet of water.
