Mike Martin and Tom Weigel - First Place

Mike Martin and Tom Weigel caught 7.20 pounds to win the Michiana Fishing League on Worster Lake at Potato Creek State Park last weekend.

Wind wreaked havoc on the anglers and their trolling motor batteries as Worster is an electric-motor only lake.

Most bites were produced with Texas-rigged worms, crankbaits and stick worms.

Kasey Conklin and Cameron Meade - 2nd Place

Second place went to Kasey Conklin and Cameron Meade with 4.66 pounds while Thomas Bauer and Bri Bauer were third with 3.99 pounds. Nathan Mnnes and Cody Gay were fourth with 3.45 pounds.

Thomas Bauer and Bri Bauer - 3rd Place

Conklin and Meade had the big bass of the day, a 2.52-pounder.

The next event is June 27th on the St. Joseph River at Memorial Park in South Bend.
