Kyle Leamer and Dan Baerwald used topwater lures to catch 14.11 pounds at Van Auken Lake to win the Starboard Choice Big Bass Challenge at Van Auken Lake last weekend.

They took home $280.

Rob Swem and Brian Burgoyne - 2nd Place

Gaylord and Josh (no last names provided) - 3rd Place

Rob Swem and Brian Burgoyne were second ($180) with 12.76 pounds caught shallow while Gaylord and Josh (no last names provided) were third ($110) with 11.14 pounds caught on the outer weed edges.

John Dixon and Dixon (No first name provided) - Big Bass

John Dixon and Dixon (No first name provided) won the big bass pot ($90) with a 4.83 pound bass caught off a bed.

The tournament paid five places and another $90 was added to the Classic fund.

Tournament Director John Gipson also announced that this Saturday’s (June 5) tournament has been moved from Paw Paw to Pipestone Lake due to a scheduling conflict. Hours are from 6:30-2:30. Contact John Gipson, 765-637-6919, for more information.
