The second annual Bernie Behnke Scholarship tournament will be held Aug. 18 on Coldwater Lake.

Entry fee is $80 and hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first 40 teams to pre-register receive a priority starting spot and are eligible for a cash drawing.

The tournament has become one of the most popular in Michiana with proceed going to a scholarship fund honoring Behnke, a longtime newsman and popular figure around Branch County tournaments.

In addition to prize money for the tournament, there will be door prizes and auctions held for autographed items, fishing trips, hunting trips and tackle.
