Kent Dowden fished alone in extremely shallow water to win the Little Money Bass Tournament (LMBT) on Clear Lake (Michigan) last Saturday.
Dowden had 13 pounds, 7 ounces caught on Senkos to out-fish 15 other teams. The field weighed in 77 bass.
Floyd Wolkins and Jeremy Bunnell were second with 12 pounds, 5 ounces caught on frogs.
Chris Hubbard and Tim Lusher finished third with 11-15 caught on jigs and Senkos.
Jake and Eric Shapland won the big bass pot with a 4-4 largemouth.
The LMBT’s next tournament is on the St. Joseph River at Constantine Aug. 19. It will launch at the American Legion boat ramp and is pending clean-up of a sewer overflow into the river. Tournament hours are 6:30-2:30. Visit Michiana Outdoors News Lake Drive Marine Calendar for more info.
