Michiana Singles Report

Twelve teams showed up for Michiana Singles OPEN series inaugural at Pine and Stone lakes in LaPorte last weekend.

High winds and a high pressure system made for tough conditions, as only two anglers weighed limits.

Loren Crosbie (Osceola) - 1st Place

Loren Crosbie (Osceola) had five keeper bass totaling 11.54 pounds to take home $260 and bragging rights, He used Chatterbaits in 5 feet of water.

laceAnthony Sivits (Shipshewana) - 2nd

Anthony Sivits (Shipshewana) also had five keeper bass totaling 10.62 pounds for second ($120) and captured big bass honors with a 4.08 pounder for an extra $55. Sivits used jerkbaits in 8 feet of water.

Rick Kedik (South Bend) - 3rd Place

Rick Kedik (South Bend) had one good keeper totaling 3.47pounds to take home $60 for third. He used swimbaits in 8 feet.

John Dixon (Elkhart) was fourth with two keepers totaling 2.90 pounds and earned the Native Pride tackle pack.
