Rapid Fishing Solutions is a small company you probably haven’t heard of, but one that knows how to solve those annoying problems Michiana anglers face.

In yesterday’s first part, we covered four of their nifty products. Here are three more:

Line Guide

Rapid Fishing Line GuidesRapid Fishing Line GuidesThis nifty, simple gadget is a must for stringing line through tiny guides, especially if your eyes aren’t what they used to be.

There are two sizes of the line guide, one for standard guides and one for micro-size guides.

Simply thread the line into the company’s Line Guide, cinch it in the top (similar to the way you cinch a drop-shot sinker) then began sliding it through the guides. The tip of the Line Guide is bright yellow so you can be sure of getting it through the guide. Once you’re through the tip of the rod, pop the line free and you’re ready to tie on a bait.

The Line Guide also can help threading small line through a tube jig eye when the plastic is so thick it’s difficult to squeeze it down far enough to get the line through the eye. The Line Guide will make this a lot easier!

It’s also handy for poking line through the line guide on the level wind of a baitcaster reel.

The product is packaged with two Line Guides for (standard) $2.99 and (micro) $6.99 sizes.

Scent Keeper Tube Jigs

Rapid Fishing Scent Keeper JigheadsRapid Fishing Scent Keeper JigheadsIf you like to add scent to your tube baits, the Scent Keeper Tube Jig allows the bait to hold that scent longer and leave a scent trail as you pull the tube over the bottom.

It’s made possible by absorbent material wrapped near the top of the 3/0 hook shank and just below the lead head and out of sight of the fish. The Scent Keeper Tube Jigs come in five baits per package and three sizes, ¼, 3/8 and ½ ounce. Retail is 7.99 per pack.

Micro Line Clips

Rapid Fishing Micro Line ClipsRapid Fishing Micro Line ClipsPlacing rods in a boat locker or storage with lures attached often create a tangled mess when hooks catch with other lines or rod sleeves.

The Micro Line Clips eliminate that. Remove the lure and put the end of the line through the Line Clip and wedge it into the nose (similar to a drop shot sinker), then wind it to the tip of the rod.

The Micro Line Clips come six to a package and in different colors. $7.99 retail.
