Jonathan and Vanessa Pearson took first place in the Northern Indiana Couples Circuit (NICC) on Skinner Lake Saturday.

The Pearsons had a limit of 11 pounds, 8 ounces. Their catch included a 4-9 – their first fish of the day and they didn’t get their last keeper fish until 20 minutes were left in the tournament. Their fish were caught by flipping a Missile Baits D-Bomb in bruiser flash color on a 1-ounce weight into shallow pads and mats

Connor Tonkel and Ava Godbey - 2nd PlaceConnor Tonkel and Ava Godbey - 2nd Place

Connor Tonkel and Ava Godbey were second with four fish weighing 11-1. They also had a 4- pound, 9-ounce largemouth they caught in the final 10 minutes. They caught their fish flipping a black and blue Strike King Punch Bug on a ¾-ounce weight in the pads.

Chuck and Chlesea Fleshman - 3rd Place, Big BassChuck and Chlesea Fleshman - 3rd Place, Big Bass

Chuck and Chlesea Fleshman brought in two bass weighing 9-4 that included a massive 6-pound, 15-ouncer that won them big bass prize. The big fish ate a Senko in shallow water, and was thought to be a muskie until Chuck got a look at it in the muddy water.
