Monster Muskie Sets Michigan Record

The fish measured 59 inches long and had a girth of 29 inches. Seeberger was fishing for smallmouth bass with a 7¼-inch sucker minnow at the time when he caught the fish at 10:30 a.m.

Waterfowl Season Opens in IndianaIndiana’s waterfowl season opens Saturday (Oct. 20) in the North Zone and runs through Dec. 9 for ducks and Nov. 11 for Canada geese. Goose hunters may take three a day, while duck hunters can take six, but may not include more than 4 mallards (2 females max), 3 wood ducks, 2 pintails, 1 black, 2 redheads, 1 canvasback or 4 scaup.
