Terry Smith and Scott Crocker - 1sr Place

Diamond Lake continued to fish tough for bass tournament groups as the Southwest Michigan Anglers Club (SMAC) discovered Saturday.

Terry Smith and Scott Crocker hit the jackpot on their last cast of the day when Crocker landed a 3 pounder that lifted them into first with 10.16 pounds. They used wacky worms and jigs around docks and flats.

Scott Kulp and Paul Groves - 2nd Place

Scott Kulp and Paul Groves caught two bass early with Zara Spooks to finish second with four fish weighing 9.68 pounds. They also had big bass with a 3.76-pound largemouth that came on a tube in 10 feet of water.

Skylar Traver and Drake Nevins - 3rd Place

Skylar Traver and Drake Nevins were third with a limit weighing 9.45 pounds. They used forward facing sonar to find fish and catch them with jigs and drop-shot rigs in deep water.

The 15 teams caught 52 bass that included two smallmouth. Total weigh of the bass weighed in was 87.96 pounds.
