Rain didn’t dampen the spirits of 14 Casting Couples contestants in the season finale at Magician Lake last weekend.
Man, you talk about a close finish! It doesn’t get much closer than what the Arjay’s Classic experienced at Paw Paw Lake on Saturday.
The ClapTail™ 110 is a topwater bait with a metal prop and back blade that collide when retrieved, producing a unique two-tone fish-attracting sound.

IDNR Report
For the first time since 2006, Indiana DNR Division of Fish & Wildlife (DFW) has increased fees for hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses. Commercial license fees also increase, some for the first time since the 1980s.
The increases will be applied to personal licenses starting with the 2022-2023 license year (April 1, 2022 – March 31, 2023) that will go on sale in January. The fee increase does not affect licenses for the remainder of the 2021-2022 license years (April 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022), even if those licenses are purchased after Jan. 1.

Andrew Lemle with two of his big smallmouth bass
Catching 7-pound smallmouth isn’t anything new to Andrew Lemle.
However, catching a five-fish limit of big smallmouth weighing 36.90 pounds was the thrill of a lifetime.
Lemle caught those fish Nov. 18 on a northern Michigan lake. They weighed 6.87, 7.29, 7.73, 7.45 and 7.53.
And they all came off of one rock!

Lemle lives on Lake Charlevoix, but don’t assume that’s where he caught them. He’s not saying, other than it’s a big lake.
“I fish a lot of different lakes up here and I’ve caught some other 7s on this one, but, for whatever the reason, the big fish moved up and wanted to bite that day,” he said. “My previous best up here was a 33-pound limit and I’ve had some 31s, but this was incredible.
