It’s that time of year again. Kids are back at school, football’s started, and fish will soon be putting on the feed for the long, cold months ahead.

Here are some of the events:
Hunter Safety, Sept. 15-16: Participants are required to attend both sessions to receive their Hunters Certification. The class will run from 9-4 on Sept. 15 and from 9 a.m. to noon on Sept. 16. There is a $10 charge per person. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.
A group of collectors will be gathering at the Heddon Museum in Dowagiac Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m.
Everyone is invited to the informal event where lures are traded, bought and sold every second Tuesday of the month.
