Mark Fennell (Lagrange, Ind.) and Ken Holder (South Bend) won ($225) the Clear H2o Big Bass Challenge on Magician Lake recently with 10 pounds, 10 ounces.

They caught their fish on topwaters and dropshots.

John Gipson (Lafayette, Ind.) and Jim Weaver (Dowagiac, Mich.) were second ($150) with 9-8 caught on Senkos in shallow water while Scott and Matthew Davis (Coloma, MI) were third ($80) with 7-13 caught on soft plastics.

The first and second place teams tied for big bass with 2 pounds, 13 ounces and split $65.

The next tournament is June 28 from 6:30 - 1:00 at Van Auken Lake.
