Kris Iodice and Billy Mathews - 1st Place
The formidable team of Kris Iodice and Billy Mathews dominated the Southwest Michigan Anglers Club tourney again, this time winning at Paw Paw Lake.
The lake produced several nice limits for the 20-boat field. There were 68 fish taken to the scales that weighed 164.5 pounds. Of those, 29 were smallmouth.
Iodice and Mathews had the biggest limit that tipped the scales at 15.95 pounds and included big bass of the tournament, a 4.55-pound largemouth. They fished jigs around docks to catch the winning bag of fish.
Ryan Olson and Ken Chesser - 2nd Place
Ryan Olson and Ken Chesser were second 15.27 pounds. They fished tube jigs in 22-35 feet of water to catch the only limit of smallmouth.
Chuck Powell and Louie Stout - 3rd Place
Chuck Powell and Louie Stout were third with a 14.53-pound limit. They fished ½-ounce Strike King Structure jigs, drop-shots and Tokyo Rigs in 12-15 feet of water.
Brian and Renee Hensley - 4th Place
Brian and Renee Hensley were fourth with five weighing 14.43 pounds. They used Yamamoto Hula Grubs, jigs and crankbaits in 5-20 feet.
