Michiana Singles Report
Eleven boats showed up for the cold evening Michiana Singles tournament last Thursday on the St. Joseph River at Maggies Landing.
Jason Lahr won with three keeper bass (2-over 15" & 1-under 12") totaling 5.48 pounds. Lahr used Crankbaits to take home $240.
John Dixon was second with two keeper bass (2-over 15") totaling 5.14 pounds. Dixon also took home big bass honors with a 3.22-pound largemouth, earning him $50 extra. Dixon used spinnerbaits and jigs to earn $110 for second place.
Kevin Fletcher (Bubba) had two keeper bass (2-over 15") totaling 5.10 pounds. Bubba used jigs to take home $50.
No photos were made available.
Several competitors claimed they caught several fish inside the slot limit size (12-15"), and the top two said they caught several fish over 15", but of course, they can only keep two over 15".
