Butcher Baits Report
Klinger Lake was kind to anglers fishing the Butcher Baits Circuit season opener Saturday.
All but two boats caught limits with 62 fish weighed in and 11 of them being smallmouth.

Brian Miller and Jason Schwartz topped all contestants with 12.pounds caught on tubes and Ned rigs.

Gary Butcher and Scott Smith used drop-shot rigs to weigh in 10.04 pounds and finish second. They also had the biggest bass of the tournament, a 3.08-pound smallmouth.

Ryan Thompson and Gavin Kolb finished third with 9.06 pounds. They used a variety of baits, including drop shots, stick baits and topwater.
