Casting Couples Report
Twelve couples ventured to Muskegon Lake last weekend for a Casting Couples tourney and all 12 weighed in limits.
The 12 teams weighed in sixty bass, with eight bass over three pounds.

Rick and Jennifer Kedik walked off with the top prize, weighing 15.16 pounds to earn $285.
“First thing in the morning we watched Jeff and Amy Like boat eight keepers 75 yards away and I told Jenn that I couldn’t keep watching,” Rick said. “We had three keepers and decided to go elsewhere. From that moment on, we upgraded at every stop with the last fish being a 3.48 pounder with 30 minutes to go.”
He said they used Trokar Pro V worm hooks rigged topped on Butchers Baits’ special color he ordered last week.

Scott and Robin Parr were second with 13.28 pounds to earn $130. The couple also took home the big bass of the day with a 3.86-pound largemouth to earn an extra $55. Parr's used tubes and jigs in 10 feet of water. The big bass came on a jig.

Third place was won by Ryan and Alyssa Yoder with 13.08 pounds, which earned them $80. The Yoder's fished up river most of the day, catching a ton of keepers on frogs and jigs.

Brian and Sandy Souza were fourth with 12.56 pounds. They fished topwaters in Bear Lake.

Jake and Cheyenne Lisenko's 3.50-pound largemouth earned them some Butchers Baits for having the second biggest bass. The Lisenko's used FFS on White lake in 25 FOW.
