Butcher Baits Report
A 5-pounder was the difference maker for Gary Butcher and Scott Smith Sunday in the Butcher Baits tournament on Long Lake (Portage, Mich.).
The Butcher team had 13.01 pounds, caught on topwaters and stick baits. A 5.06-pound largemouth was the key fish and biggest in the event.

Ray Lohr and Charlie Foutz finished second with 12.10 pounds caught on stickbaits and tubes.


Martin Hochstetler and Jonas Troyer fished stickbaits and lizards to finish third with 11.03 pounds. 

The next tournament is August 24 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Finch, Fish, Saddlebag near Marcellus.
