Casting Couples Report
Quality bass once again were difference makers for competitors in the Casting Couples Open over the weekend at Wawasee Lake.
Scott and LeAnn Sizemore had the second biggest bass that helped them win $320 for first place with a limit weighing 11.20 pounds. Their limit was topped by a 3.25-pound largemouth. The Sizemores used Ned rigs in shallow water.
Brian and Chris Burkholder were second with five bass weighing 10.45 pounds. They had the biggest bass of the derby, a 3.75-pound largemouth. The Burkholders used Chatterbaits and swim jigs to take home $220.
Third place went to Hurd and Hammond (no first names available) with a 9.75-pound limit. They used Chatterbaits close to lily pads.
