Brian Burmania and Don Watts won the D&R Sports Center Tournament Series on Cadillac and Mitchell lakes last weekend.

The winning duo had 18.05 pounds anchored by the second biggest of the tourney, a 4.29-pound largemouth.

“We were flipping weeds in 7 to 10 feet of water,” says Burmania. “We found the weedlines with our MegaLive 2. Don only used one rod all day and it was his flipping stick, so most of the fish we caught were flipped.”

Zach Wiggers took big bass honors with a 4.40.

Second place Neil Vande Biezen and Luke Gritter were close with 17.43 pounds anchored by a 4.29 pounder. They caught their fish on Strike King Rodents and jigs in cabbage weeds growing in 8 feet of water.
