D & R SportsD&R Sports Center in Kalamazoo will conduct a four-event team bass tournament circuit that will pay up to $2,000 to win, offers additional incentive cash prizes and a championship in which a boat and cash will be offered.

The D&R Sports Center Tournament Series has backing from Mercury Outboards, Tracker and Nitro boats, Humminbird, Minn Kota, Talon, Strike King, Shimano, G. Loomis, Metro Toyota and TH Marine.

In addition, the Series is sanctioned under the Bassmaster National Team Championship in which top teams would advance to a national event that would provide a path to the Bassmaster Classic.

Entry fee is $150 with cash prizes to 20th place. Tournaments will be held at Muskegon Lake June 7; White Lake, June 21; Grand River, July 12; and Muskegon Sept. 6. The championship will be fished Oct. 4 on a yet-to-be-named lake.

Cash prizes are based upon a 75-boat field. However, bonuses will be offered for anglers finishing the highest while using specific sponsor products.

The winner of the season ending championship wins a fully-rigged Tracker Pro Team 175 TXW boat with a 60 HP Mercury and Humminbird 859ci Combo electronics. Second place will pay $3,500 with payout down to 20th place ($200).
