Berkley Report
Fishing is evolving and forcing anglers to evolve with it. Forward-facing sonar has become a hot topic and is an incredible tool to allow anglers to evolve as fisheries change and enables them to understand more about fish behavior than ever before. As forward-facing sonar advances, anglers using it are looking for baits that allow them to better interact with fish using this technology. Berkley now offers three all-new baits that allow anglers to best interact with fish on forward-facing sonar.
“By taking our science-based approach to bait development and applying it to FFS the Berkley Lab has been able to create FFS baits,” said Berkley’s Chief Brand and Product Officer Jon Schlosser. “ It’s exciting to see how revolutionary these baits are, not only in their design, but in how they enable anglers to manipulate their baits in ways that have never been done before.”

VMC Report
VMC Finesse Football Jig
The new VMC Finesse Football Jig invokes a side-to-side rocking action and a unique beveled edge conical keeper that secures your plastics for longer use and multiple hook sets.
An optimal distance between the keeper device and the jig head allows the soft plastic lure to remain in place on the hook shank by collapsing tightly in that area, creating superior holding strength.
The Finesse Football Jig features a VMC Vanadium® steel, single hook. It’s hybrid wide gap maximizes hook sets while the hybrid bend provides extra strength for the monsters you’ll encounter.
The VMC Finesse Football Jig is idea for use with small tubes, finesse plastics, Ned baits and of course, new Rapala Crush City soft plastics.
The VMC Finesse Football Jig is available in one color, black, and in four weight sizes – 1/8 oz., 3/16 oz., ¼ oz. and 3/8 oz. Sold four per pack, the Finesse Football Jig has a suggested retail price of US $5.49.
