Justin Hahaj (Bridgman, Mich.) and Herman Barry (Hartford, Mich.)

Justin Hahaj (Bridgman, Mich.) and Herman Barry (Hartford, Mich.) recorded one of the biggest limits caught from Diamond Lake in recent years to win the Big Bass Challenge last weekend.

The winners ($300) had 16 pounds, 7 ounces caught on poppers and Senkos in 3 to 5 feet of water. They also won the big bass pot ($105) with a 4-pound, 3-ounce fish.

Jeff Ward (Bristol, Ind.) and Gary Chew (Elkhart) had 10 pounds, 11 ounces to finish second ($180) caught on drop shots fished along the first break.

Don Miles (Osceola) and Mickey Thomas (Edwardsburg) were third ($100) with 10 pounds, 3 ounces caught on crankbaits and finesse worms in 5 to 10 feet of water.
