Four Flags Report
The 12 teams fishing the Four Flags season opener on Magician Lake had no problem catching keeper bass, but finding size was the issue.
Every team had a limit and multiple teams reported catching as many as 30 keepers but not one of them was much bigger than 2½ pounds. Anglers reported catching fish on multiple lure types and from shallow to 20 feet or more.

Josiah and Kevin Grandy won in a tight finish with 10.50 pounds to pocket $240. They caught their fish on topwater lures and drop-shot rigs.

Steve Martin and Joel Connelly were a close second ($144) with 10.26 pounds and had the biggest bass, a 2.59 pounder, that earned them another $120 pounds. They caught their fish on jigs and drop-shot rigs.

Third place ($96) went to Jeff Bostic and Dan Posey with 10.19. They caught their fish on tubes, Ned rigs and drop-shot rigs.
