Jake and Stephanie Lisenko (South Bend) won the Casting Couples Classic for the second consecutive season at Muskegon Lake last weekend.

The winners ($660) had five keepers weighing 12.38 pounds, most of which were caught from White Lake on Native Pride Jigs.

Rob Swem and Kimm Siewert (Niles)

Rob Swem and Kimm Siewert (Niles) had an 11.87-pound limit to finish second ($440). They used Pop-Rs to catch their fish early in the morning.

Ron and Debbie Desimone (Elkhart)

Ron and Debbie Desimone (Elkhart) were third ($220) with 11.42 pounds.†The Desimones fished most of the day in front of the boat ramp on a weed edge throwing Senkos.

Steve and Amy Martin (Centerville, MI.) were fourth ($110) with 10.24 pounds. The Martins fished up river and had to wait out other boats to move off the spot to catch their smallmouth. They used jigs & tubes.

Big bass honors ($100) went to Jim and Merle Hobbs (Edwardsburg) with a 3.31-pound largemouth while Rick and Jennifer Kedik (Niles) had second big bass ($50) with a 3.27-pound smallmouth.
