R&B Report

Larry Stanley (Kendallville) and Dave Terry (Albion) brought a 13.26-pound limit to the scales to seal the win in the R&B Bass Circuit event Aug. 12

The winners ($670) fished a combination of weed clumps, lily pads, and outside weed edges with homemade casting and flipping jigs to catch their bass. One keeper was also caught on a drop shot rig. Most of their fish were caught between 15 and 18 feet of water.

After striking out on the lake, Dave Morrow (Knox) and Rich Paton (Plymouth) put together a 12.43-pound limit from the channels with homemade 3/8- and Ω-ounce black/blue jigs. Their efforts netted them $420 for second place.

Doug Fasick and Don Orn fished swim jigs matched with swimbaits in 8-10 feet of water to catch four keepers weighing 12.43 pounds and finish third ($250.

The Lochness Lures Award ($255) was a 4.42-pound largemouth landed by Andy Buss (North Liberty) and John DuPont (North Liberty). It was caught on a 9k Elite Lures flipping jig matched with a B&N Custom Baits jig trailer.
