Terry Smith and Scott Crocker beat 20 other teams to win the SMAC tournament on Magician Lake recently.

The winners had five fish, four of which were smallmouth, weighing 11.13 pounds. They said they caught them on jigs.

Trevor Paulus and Matt Gordon were second with a limit weighing 9.85 pounds and included big bass of the tournament, a 3.40 pounder. They used crankbaits and drop shot rigs.

Mike Ganger and Chase Laughlin were third with 8.41 pounds caught on tubes and drop-shot rigs; Brett Gessinger and Mike Vanderyden were fourth with 8.31 (tubes) and Ritch Flectcher and Mark Cooney fifth with 8.31 pounds (Senko).

The next tournament is Father’s Day on Diamond Lake.
