Justin Hahaj and Mike Rappette - 1st Place

Justin Hahaj and Mike Rappette won the Tackle Shack Fall Open on the St. Joseph River at Benton Harbor recently.

The winners had 16.53 pounds, all smallmouth, anchored by a 4.22 pounder. They won $650.

Big bass honors went to Eric Havel and Steve Esbin with a 4.92-pound smallmouth. It earned them $260.

Kevin Fletcher and Greg Mangus - 2nd Place

Stephen Whetston and Arlin Miller - 3rd Place

Kevin Fletcher and Greg Mangus were second with 14.70 pounds to win $320 while Stephen Whetston and Arlin Miller were third ($165) with 12.23 pounds.

Lane Herman and Hunter Leonardson were fourth ($110) with 10.68 and Jordan Smith and Chris Gregory fifth ($55) with 9.20 pounds.

Tournament officials said A-rigs, Ned rigs, jigs and jerkbaits were the top fish producing lures.
