Jason Schwartz and Brian Miller fished swimbaits on 1/8-ounce jigheads to win the Tackle Shack’s Fall League event on Klinger Lake Saturday.
The winners had 9.59 pounds anchored by a 3.19-pound bass to win $525. They targeted fish feeding on bait balls moving across flats in 3 to 9 feet of water.
Hunter Sites and Gary Chew were second ($260) with 9.15 caught on A-rigs dressed with Ayu, Sexy Shad and Bluegill colored swimbaits. They also caught a keeper on an underspin with an Ayu-colored swimbait. Their fish came in 8 to 20 feet of water.
Mike Lagodney and Ryan Evans were third ($130) with 8.94 pounds, Jake Ott fished alone for fourth ($90) with 8.84 pounds and Dalton DeFelice and Elijah Meyers fifth ($45) with 8.71 pounds.
Big bass honors ($210) went to Doug Sanderson and Mike Oldenburg with a 5.08 pounder.
The tournament drew 22 teams.
