Thomas Hanners and A. J. Hack - 1st Place

Thomas Hanners and A. J. Hack won the Starboard Choice Marine Big Bass Challenge on Palestine Lake.

The winners ($390) had 17 pounds, 13 ounces topped by a 6-3.

That six pounder wasn’t enough to win big bass honors, however, as second place ($260) Mike Raber and Jeremy Bichoff had a 6-4 to anchor their weight of 16-6.

Scott and Leeann Sizemore were third ($200) with 14-3 and Bob Johnson and Derek Deardorff fourth ($100) with 13-2.

Most of the fish were caught on spinnerbaits, lipless crankbaits and jigs along grass lines.
