Arjay’s Report

It was a tough night on Lake Templene for the Arjay’s Weeknight Circuit last Wednesday when only two limits were weighed in among 24 teams.

Joey Steiner and Chad Kelley - 1st PlaceJoey Steiner and Chad Kelley - 1st Place

Joey Steiner and Chad Kelley only caught four but they had one of the right ones to take the win. Their 8.14-pound catch included a 3.66 largemouth which also earned them the Tackleshack Big Bass Award. They caught their fish on creature baits in 10 feet of water.

John and Ashley Miller - 2nd PlaceJohn and Ashley Miller - 2nd Place

The father and daughter duo of John and Ashley Miller caught one of the two limits for second place. Their 7.92 pounds were caught on wacky worms around docks and lily pads.

Steve and Amy Martin - 3rd PlaceSteve and Amy Martin - 3rd Place

Steve and Amy Martin caught the other limit (5.84 pounds) on jigs and hula grubs in 15 feet of water to finish third while Scott Carpenter and Brandon Flowers were fourth with 5.68 pounds.

Charlie Fouts and Ray Lohr were fifth with 5.34 pounds.

The Clear H2O “first out of the money” went to Joe and Cole Long with four bass fish weighing 5.02.

Jared Yoder and David Ringler took home the junk fish pot with a pike weighing 4.88 pounds.

The Arjay’s group will fish Union Lake Wednesday night.
